Question by Special K: anyone play no limit texas hold ‘em poker in a REAL casino?
bonus points to anyone who gives me more info. im scared out of my mind to go to a no limit hold’em game at a real major casino.

wanna know if i can play at a 6 player table?
how much are small and big blinds? im used to 1/2$ blinds at a real casino.
can i play 6 player tables?

how much money should i bring?
how much do people raise?
do people wear sunglasses in the poker rooms on no limit tables? cuz in the 1/2$ blinds they look like goofs with shades.

any and all info appreciated??

They don’t have 6 player tables in B&M casinos. You can usually find a $ 1/2 game.

Bring a couple hundred. $ 200-800 is good.

It depends on how aggressive the table is. Some people will make the first raise $ 10. Some will make it $ 20 in a $ 1/2 game.

Some people wear sunglasses. No matter what you do, someone thinks you look like a goofball. It doesn’t matter whether you wear sunglasses or you wear your Twilight t-shirt.

Just go. Just do your thing and don’t worry what people think. Yes, you’ll make some mistakes the first time you play, but it’s easy to get the hang of things.
