Question by sheka318: What to do about online gaming ripoff?
On Saturday, 23 Jan 10 I was sitting at home bored so I decided to do some online gaming. I initially play with Jackpot Capital but after losing $ 100 bucks or so I decided to try there sister company, Slotastic. They offered on 1st time start up bonus of 100% match. I deposited $ 75, and they matched it so I started off with $ 150.00. After playing slots and video poker, I was up to $ 800. I continued to play going back and forth between slots and video poker. After awhile I was @$ 3500! I then proceeded to the cashier to see my options to cash out some of the monies. Needless to say, they told me I was ineligible to cash out because I still had a “play through” amount of $ 1800, because most of my winnings came from poker which according to the terms, is ineligible. This basically means that I have to play $ 1800 to separate what Ive won on video poker as opposed to slots. I played through the $ 1800 on a slot machine and only lost $ 300 because of the back and forth winnings on the slot machine.
Again, I attempted to cash out. This time I elected $ 2600 of the $ 3200 balance. I contacted the casino because there was a problem cashing out because my bank doesn’t have a SWIFT of BIC #. The operator explained to me to email the support personnel and they would correct the problem since BIC #s are only associated with overseas account.
The next thing I know I received a email from the “accounting department”, explaining that all my winnings were null and void because they came from the video poker. I then explained that I had also won monies on the slot machines as well. I later received another email stating that they had refunded my initial $ 75.00. When I logged on, I realized not only did they deposit my $ 75 but they took ALL monies from me, the entire balance of $ 2600 + what was left after I played a little more. They total was well over $ 2800.00. My account has a balance of $ 75! I admittedly contacted them again and they didn’t bulge!
Saying that I’m upset is a complete understatement. I did everything they told me to do yet they took all the money from me. I played slots as well as poker In fact the total times are around the same. Yes, the majority of the winnings came from poker but I won a lot of money on the slots as well. So why cant the slot monies be given to me?
I don’t know what to do about this. Is there some1 that can advise me of this issue. My email is sheka318@yahoo.com

Hello, since i do not know the bonus code you did use I am assuming that you used a code that had specific terms and conditions and possibly only play on slots was allowed. Most bonuses from casinos come with terms and conditions and you need to be sure to read all of them and follow the rules if you want to be able to cashout. When I first started playing online I had a similar problem, but then after reading the rules or terms and conditions I realized I was at fault. Some bonuses have a max cashout also, so you want to be sure to find that out before you take a bonus. Also, some bonuses are good for play on slots only, and even if you did win on slots but then played video poker, that would void all of your wins because the bonus was good for slots only.

Since you posted your email I will send you off an email as well in case you need more help.

In which US states is it allowed to play online roulette for real money?
That means, deposit into a casino that accepts US players. (since some states do not allow this, which ones are that?)

The only state where its illegal is Washington, in all other states you can play online gambling. You can play at sites that are US welcome, because they have contracts with the US government to operate there. You can find the best US welcome casinos here http://www.gamblingsafe.net/usa-friendly-sites/usa-casinos.html
Rushmore is very good, but its 21+, the others are 18+ if that matters for you.

Operation of Overseas Online Gaming Casinos – United States Jurisdiction?

Question by Steve R: Operation of Overseas Online Gaming Casinos – United States Jurisdiction?
If a US citizen resides in a country where online gambling is legal and regulated, they run an online casino, and they do not allow countries or territories which prohibit such online gambling to participate in this online gambling system, does the United States, or any state within, have the jurisdiction or the power to impose criminal or civil judgments against said citizen?

No, they do not. The only “ownership” prohibition would be the country in which the servers for such a casino are based.

The prohibition is for computers on US Soil, not US citizens physically on foreign soil…

Question by dirkkpt: Where can I find out more info about Real Time Gaming online casinos?
A co-worker of mine told me that they have the best online casino software. She plays a lot of 5 reel slots. Do they have the best software? If so, where can I play their games?

Determining which online casino software is the best is hard to do. I enjoy Microgaming casinos the most, while others enjoy Playtech and Real Time Gaming casinos. You will only really know which is the best for you once you have tried them. In general I have found that slot players prefer Microgaming and Real Time Gaming casinos. Table game players usually prefer Playtech, but sometimes Realtime Gaming and Microgaming casinos. Maybe you should try out one of each and make your own evaluation.

Here are links to some software reviews that I think will help you out. They also list some casinos with each type of software.
