I went to an illegal gambling casino in CA. Gambling is ILLEGAL in CA so how do I get my money back. The place is called Hawaiian Gardens Casino, I would also like to sue for depression that came from the loss of this money and transportation and time costs going there and gambling.

It’s a super bad idea….unless you want to LOSE money, you can lose up fast since your home in your office it feels like your not really spending …but you are. I know someone who lost 4000.00 in one weekend.

I am assuming you did not win. If you are an overall winner at a casino tell your story too. I have seen many people lose big money because they do not realize the odds are against ever winning.

I was really excited when I went to Atlantic City with $ 300, and after many hours and, many drinks I was up to $ 800, and I was so excited. I couldn’t lose a single hand, it seemed! The next night I sat at the same table and lost every penny in a matter of 45 minutes. It was crazy. I still don’t get it. I mean, I understand how it works–I lost, that’s the point–but it really sucked, especially since I was on such a high from the night before.

Yea, so I probably did the most idiotic thing I’ve ever done in my life. What started out as a simple online sports wager, quickly turned into a trip to hell. Basically, I bet on a sports game (only $ 50)through an online sportsbook, lost, and thought I would just make that 50 back through online blackjack. So, I bet 50……lost that, so now I needed to make back 100, so I bet a 100……lost that. That trend continued until I was down about $ 600. It was my weakest moment and I admit it was absolutely retarded. I’m just a poor college student that played with money I need to live on.

So, I’m wondering, if I claim that all (except the original bet) the charges were fraudulent (since I used a debit card and technically all online casino transactions through the bank account are illegal for US citizens) is there a chance I’ll get my money back? Or am I wasting my time?…….

If you even THINK about claiming those charges as fraudulent, YOU will be charged with credit card fraud! It is VERY easy for the casio company to tell EXACTLY where you were when those charges were incurred. There is not a chance in “You know where” that your scheme will work to your benefit. You are MUCH more likely to get a criminal conviction for fraud than to ever see one cent back!

Over the past 6 months I lost a substantial sum with online gambling. Early on I was making a healthy profit but my luck changed. Should I give up now or try to win back my losses?

And you want to give this man charge of the country?

How can you claim to be for fiscal responsibility but vote for a person who bankrupted his own Casino? Isn’t that just foolish?

Either he failed to run profitable Casinos or he allowed his real estate speculation to bankrupt his Casinos.

Either way, that’s piss-poor asset management.

say a man went to casino (one that usually serves free drinks) and became intoxicated and lost money playing games or gambling in the casino, is he entitled to sue the casino for money lost?
Please attach a link of a case showing this if possible.

no, being intoxicated doesn’t remove you from being responsible…are you saying that if I go drive a car, and kill someone, I shouldn’t be charged, because I am not responsible for what I did while I was drunk?

I played at online casino and realized the games are rigged because as long as the bets are small, about , there are chances of winning sometimes, about 50 percent, but when bets are big, more than the chances of losing increase dramatically, up to 90 percent. Of course, the casino will never admit this and claim fairness. If someone helps me recover my money I could share a percentage of the recovered money. I live in Mexico.
