Question by flipstylemm: Does anyone know if online casinos tax you on your winnings come tax time?
I was wondering if these guys tax you on your winnings if it comes tax time and if there are anything I can do to not get taxed so heavyly

It is not the casinos who tax you – it is the government.

If you itemized your deductions and you have the documentation to support your losses, then you can deduct your gambling losses to the extent of your gambling winnings – but if you won ,000 and only have documentation to support ,000 in losses, then you will be taxed on ,000 income.

Every time I try to use one on these sites, it rejects my card. Some say that these cards won’t allow use for online gambling, but I heard there is a way around it. Can anyone who has had this problem please help?

If you are from USA I understand why you have problems. A lot of USA banks doesnt allow banks to deposit into gambling sites.

Determining which online casino software is the best is hard to do. I enjoy Microgaming casinos the most, while others enjoy Playtech and Real Time Gaming casinos. You will only really know which is the best for you once you have tried them. In general I have found that slot players prefer Microgaming and Real Time Gaming casinos. Table game players usually prefer Playtech, but sometimes Realtime Gaming and Microgaming casinos. Maybe you should try out one of each and make your own evaluation.
